Saúl M. Rodriguez. Ph.D.

He holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Ottawa (Canada), graduating with high honors. He is an author, university professor, and researcher with over 20 years of experience, including an extensive record of travel and fieldwork in various parts of the world.

He is the author of the books 'The Influence of the United States on the Colombian Army, 1951-1959' (La Carreta, 2006) and 'From Royal Militias to Counterinsurgency Military' (with César Torres) (Javeriana, 2008).

He has also published articles and chapters on topics such as war, sexuality, counterintelligence, military affairs, the environment, fashion, media, democracy, and peace for renowned international publishers such as Sage, ABC-Clio, Rowman & Littlefield, and Clacso. Recently, he has published in the 'Routledge Companion to Global Cyber-Security Strategy' (Routledge, 2021) and 'Counterterrorism and Civil Society: Post-9/11 Progress and Challenges' (Manchester University Press, 2021).

He holds a degree in History from the National University of Colombia, graduating with a Laureate thesis, the highest distinction for research work, and has a Master's in Social Sciences Research (with honors) from the University of Buenos Aires.
